iMobility Challenge at ITS Congress

On 6th of June the iMobility Challenge chaired a special session at the congress together with its sister project iMobility Support, and the FOT-Net project. The topic of the session was "awareness raising for the deployment of ICT systems for energy efficiency". Speakers included Lina Konstantinopoulou - ERTICO (Belgium); Gabriel Simcic - FIA (Belgium); Risto Öörni - VTT (Finland); and Yvonne Barnard - ERTICO (United Kingdom).

iMobility Challenge was also present at the Europaen Commission stand in the exhibition area of the congress, and conducted a questionnaire there among ITS stakeholders present. Over a hundred respondents gave their views on the mapping of iMobility Challenge technologies, which ones they believe offer most promising benefits for sustainable mobility, and what they think are the remaining barriers to their deployment.
