New user attitude survey
The iMobility Challenge demonstration events were a great opportunity to ask drivers their opinion on specific technologies before and after they had a chance to test them for themselves behind the wheel. Three technologies are investigated in this report: autonomous emergency braking, traffic light asssistance, and parking assistance systems. The results indicate that car users’ perceptions about the systems generally became more positive after they had participated in demonstrations of the systems. For example, the willingness to pay for the use of systems increased slightly after testing technologies.
The most positive attitudes were recorded for autonomous emergency braking.
